As part of the meeting, Jean-Briac Perrette shared the company’s commitment to bring the Olympic Games to more people, and across more screens than ever before, delivering the ultimate Olympic Games viewing experience to a new and younger audience. This will begin at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 with the broadcast of more than 100 events live and on demand, on any device, at any time, making PyeongChang 2018 the most digitally accessible Olympic Games across Europe.

Three-time Olympic Champion and Paris 2024 Co-Chair Tony Estanguet, said: “We are grateful to have the backing of Discovery and Eurosport for our candidature for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are honoured to receive their support. Broadcast rights holders, such as Discovery, play a vital role within the Olympic Movement.
